We’ve got new tools!
MSB is happy to announce the release of new tools to assist in both managing and understanding your Medicaid administrative processes. We have released three flowcharts providing a bird’s eye view of your district’s administrative processes in several key areas – setting up new, qualified, Service Providers in your district, managing newly identified students receiving health-related services, and an administrative calendar designed to provide key action steps relevant to specific times of the school year. We have also published a Case Manager checklist, which can be used by districts to alert case managers to the Medicaid required documents needed for a student at the time of a meeting. You can see this checklist by clicking here.
Also worth mentioning, we recently renamed the handy one-page overview of Medicaid documentation requirements from “Suggested Archival and Retrieval System for Documentation of an Audit” to Medicaid Audit Preparedness Suggestion (MAPS). This document is a great tool to help Lumea Administrators see all documentation required for Medicaid services at a glance. You can still find this document here in our Maine Resource center.
