MSB™ is excited to announce two new ways to help Districts maximize Medicaid reimbursements from Out of District Facilities and Contracted Providers. We have
developed an Intake Form, and an Out of District Reviewer role in Lumea™.
The Intake Form is a tool designed to identify vital information regarding any health related, IEP-ordered services when a student is placed out of district to help districts
Here are key features the Intake Form captures:
1) Student information
2) Health related services ordered in the IEP
3) Frequency of services
4) Intensity of services
5) Signatures of both parties involved
Communication between the district and Out of District facility or contracted provider is the initial step in implementing the Out of District Reviewer role and the Intake Form to help maximize Medicaid reimbursement.
The new Out of District Reviewer role in Lumea will allow district administrators, who have been granted access, to monitor the delivery of IEP-ordered services provided to their students in Out of District facilities that are currently using Lumea.
This role allows districts to identify discrepancies earlier to ensure Out of District and Contracted Providers are logging for those IEP-ordered services for which the district is seeking Medicaid reimbursement.
The Out of District Reviewer role provides accountability regarding students receiving services from Out of District facilities or contracted providers, which has historically been a challenge for NH school districts.
Some of the reports available to the OOD Reviewer:
1) Service Provider Team
2) Scheduled sessions
3) Posted sessions
4) Monthly, weekly, daily, reports regarding session details
