Dear District Administration:

This is a reminder that it’s time to gather your RMTS participant information for all staff who will be participating in the School-Based Medicaid Program time study for the 3rd Quarter of FY 2015 (1/1/15 – 3/31/15).  If MSB is your RMTS coordinator, we will be in touch with you regarding any staff updates.  For other districts, as you did last quarter, you will need to complete the process of uploading your participant information directly into the RMTS system no later than December 5, 2014. Winter Medicaid Connection—A “Fireside” Chat

It may be cold outside, but we’re just getting warmed up with lots of Medicaid items to discuss!

We have a new tri-annual schedule for our webinar series.  This schedule gives us the opportunity to provide timely information by connecting with districts at strategic times throughout the year. We will continue to review important updates and changes regarding Medicaid policy and Lumea™ during these webinars. The Medicaid Connection webinars also provide an opportunity for Lumea Administrators to ask questions regarding “Hot Topics” and receive answers from MSB’s management team members. We would like to ensure that not only has everyone received notification regarding the necessary updates and changes to help your district maximize compliance and reimbursement, but more importantly, that everyone understands those changes. Provider Reports/Lumea Monthly Maintenance – Massachusetts

Massachusetts School-Based Medicaid imposes a strict 90-day claiming deadline, so it is crucial that providers post their sessions weekly.  We encourage you to run the Unposted Sessions Summary Report and the Service Provider Records Report for October, 2014 to ensure your practitioners are logging and posting their billable sessions.  Utilizing these reports on a monthly basis is another way to help your district maximize direct service claiming.
