Patricia Tetreau

ptetreau@eddatasolutions.com

Patricia is our Maine and Massachusetts Program Specialist.  Here at EDMS, she uses her experience as a Special Educator to help districts address any issues that may arise when working through the Special Education and 504 process. Her attention to detail helps districts feel confident that their concerns are addressed and that they have the timely information needed to make informed decisions about their account.

Patricia comes here as a second-generation educator who grew up in the special education classrooms of Maine public schools.  A one-time “professional student,” she has two Bachelor’s degrees, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. While working on her degrees, Patricia acted as a private consultant to public school teachers of Special Education and at-risk programs all over the country.

A life-long Mainer, Patricia lived in Canada for 5 years – though she really doesn’t like the cold – but was more than happy to move home to be surrounded by family and friends. In her free time, Patricia spends time with her family – both furry and not as much – traveling the back roads of Maine and enjoying the best each season has to offer.

Jason Black

jblack@eddatasolutions.com

Jason is a Program Specialist at EDMS, traveling throughout Maine to provide training and support to districts utilizing EDMS’s web-based IEP management, 504 plan management, and service delivery documentation tools. He also consults with school districts regarding MaineCare policy and their Medicaid administration process. When asked what drew him to EDMS, Jason responded, “EDMS is committed to providing excellent customer service. That commitment is meaningless unless we provide something of tangible benefit to the school districts who work with us. The products we offer and the services I provide as a Program Specialist is where the rubber meets the road, and I am very thankful to have that role at EDMS.” Jason’s favorite part of the job is the opportunity he has to go out to school districts and work directly with our customers.

Jason has a Bachelor’s of Arts in English Literature. Before joining EDMS, Jason worked in the field of health and human services for seven years. That experience includes work as a residential counselor and facility supervisor, working with students with disabilities to assist them in developing social and daily-living skills.

He is originally from Aroostook County, Maine, and currently resides in New Hampshire with his wife, Dianna, and his two young daughters, Ellodie and Lorilei. He is content at home with his girls, joking and having fun. Jason is also very passionate about politics and sports. Watch out – he’ll talk about them until he’s blue in the face!

Section 504 Management

Managing Section 504

How can you be sure you are effectively managing your district’s 504 data and documentation?

The duties of school districts under The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) continue to expand and the documentation requirements for those students who are eligible for Section 504 are no exception.

School-based Medicaid

EDMS’s School Medicaid Administration System empowers administrators to effectively manage their responsibility to submit compliant claims for Special Education students who are enrolled with Medicaid.

Special Education Management

Adori™ is our web-based integrated IEP software and special education management system. With a focus on compliance and efficiency, it is a total special education management process at your fingertips.
